FREE Kidney Cancer Symposium coming to Jacksonville - open to the public - Great for patients, care givers, families, and those wanting to learn more about Kidney Cancer.

University of North Florida on Saturday, December 1st from 8 am - 4 pm. (Doors open at 7:30 am)

Join patients, families, professional caregivers and medical professionals for an educational symposium focused specifically on kidney cancer in Jacksonville, FL on December 1st.

This free event, presented by the Judy Nicholson Kidney Cancer Foundation, will offer a full day of education and information related to treatment and care. You’ll hear from several distinguished medical professionals, survivors and professional caregivers. Make connections, find resources and engage with a community who understands. 


Topics to include:

  • Management of Small Renal Masses by Urologist Julio Gandian

  • Cytoreductive Surgery: When & Why by Urologist David Thiel

  • Challenges and Solutions by Kidney Cancer survivors

  • Yoga and the Kidney Cancer Patient by Renee Foster

  • Nutrition and Kidney Cancer by Dr. Roberto Pili, IU Health

  • Additional discussions with Winston Tan, MD and Pharma resources by Pharma representatives.
